My vision has always been to become a trusted partner and adviser to small business owners who have to spin so many plates from sales to finance, recruitment to marketing. Today, I’m proud to have an established business working with some absolutely amazing small business owners and corporate teams across the UK and Europe.
I advise, support and mentor them, to create impactful communication strategies that build trust, enhance their reputation and ultimately develop sustainable businesses that keep on giving.
My job is to help business owners and senior managers harness this most powerful of energy. To show you how – by doing it in your own unique way – you can build a truly authentic, enduring business.
I’ve always had a real passion for working with different people, cultures and markets. That’s what drove me to live in the Loire Valley for ten years (that, and a love of good wine, champagne and smelly cheese!).
I worked for Westmill, Airbus, Pechiney Aviatube (now Alcoa), Scania and the Wall Street Institute, each of them providing me with more insight into the world of business, and the positive impact that clear, creative and effective communication can have on your people, customers and ultimately your business results.
My real personal growth took place during my ten years at the global mining and steel giant ArcelorMittal. I worked my way up to Head of Communications for the whole downstream division which meant I was responsible for the communications and marketing strategy of over 350 sites around the world.
When my daughter, Ellia, arrived in 2014, I knew I wanted to spend less time flying from one European site to another. I also knew that I had built up over 15 years’ solid experience in all things communication and how to harness the power of relationships. That was when I started my own business and the LR Comms journey began…
I’ve married a solid 20-year grounding in getting under the skin of businesses with my skills as a CIPR Accredited PR Practitioner, helping business owners and senior managers tackle real challenges and seize opportunities with confidence and conviction.
I have an absolute belief in the power of emotion, of understanding the needs of your audience and how connecting and banding together with people is a potent force in growing your brand, reputation and ultimately your sales.
