New Whaley Bridge home for LR Comms

We’re pleased to announce that our new Whaley Bridge office is open for business! And what better place to choose as home than the newly-renovated Dunbar Business Centre?

Dunbar House has a proud history of supporting the local community. For a number of years, it has been home to High Peak CVS where it has offered advice, practical skills and information to voluntary and community groups. Recent renovation which includes a new outdoor meeting area has allowed new partners to join the Centre. With them comes a wider range of services for the local business community.

Lucy Rennie, Director of LR Comms, explains the appeal of being based in Whaley Bridge,

“When I launched my company LR Comms in 2015, my goal was to offer down-to-earth, authentic advice on communications to small, often family-run, businesses. The ethos of our business as being accessible and personable really didn’t marry with choosing a city centre base where creative thought is often drowned out by the noise of the commute and the crowds! I wanted to choose a space where our clients truly feel heard; and with full energy focused on discussing vision and story and not on parking meters or train times.

Of course we’re more than happy to visit our clients at their offices but we also wanted to spark creativity by offering them time away from their usual office surrounds. Dunbar Business Centre provides the ideal location to do that. And being on the edge of the Peak District, we’re equally as able to engage with our clients in the East Midlands as we are our clients in the North West.

Being part of this new local hub of small enterprises I’ve no doubt will help us achieve even more at LR Comms not just in our role in supporting our business clients but also our role in giving back to the local community at large.”
